Who is this kit for?
Dog families whose days are mostly indoors. The hour before you leave the house. The rainy afternoon with no long walk. The stretch when nobody is home. The dog who finishes dinner in thirty seconds and then goes looking for something to chew. It gives your paw companion a job, then a set time to wind down.
My dog struggles when I leave. Is this the answer?
It gives them something to do at a moment when they would otherwise have nothing, and filling a mat before you head out is what a lot of families here do. It is not treatment, and we are not going to pretend it is. If your dog's distress when left alone is severe, speak to your vet or a qualified behaviourist first. That is the right call, and we would rather say so than sell you a mat as a cure.
What are the mats made of?
The lick mat is made of food-grade silicone and PP and measures 20 × 20 cm. The snuffle pad is made of polar fleece fabric and measures 25 × 15 cm.
How do I clean them?
Wash both mats with warm soapy water after each use, rinse well, and let them dry fully before the next session.
How long is a session?
Start with 10 to 15 minutes, with you nearby. The guide shows how to build the routine over 7 days.
Can I freeze the lick mat?
Many families freeze a filled lick mat to make it last longer. Let it sit for a minute before serving.
What do I put on the mats?
Their regular kibble for the snuffle pad. Plain, dog-safe foods for the lick mat. Never use anything with xylitol, check for allergies, and count it toward daily food. The guide includes 12 filling ideas.
Is it a chew toy?
No. Both mats are for supervised use only. Put them away after each session and replace them if they get damaged.
